Interaction Effects of R&D Investment, Industrial Structure Rationalization, and Economic Growth in China Based on the PVAR Model

With the deepening of economic globalization, research and development (R&D) activities have become an important link in promoting optimization industrial structure high-quality growth. To clarify interaction between R&D investment, rationalization, regional growth, this paper established panel vector auto-regressive (PVAR) model on basis data 30 provinces China from 2006 to 2018 analyzed degree among three variables static dynamic perspectives. The results showed that investment had a long-term positive effect relationship intensity rationalization was different regions China. short-term as well medium- long-range inhibiting eastern western regions, catalytic Economic growth would restrain short term, but long it steadily promote enhancement intensity, showing “U-shaped” relationship. study will be helpful provide differentiated policy supports broaden channels transition upgrading.
